Book Kawai and her duo, trio, or Full band at your special event. Or….have Kawai book the entertainment at your event. Over the years, Kawai has created relationships with many talented artists in Hawaii and beyond. From your MC to DJ to live bands and everything in between, Kawai can book entertainment and create a seamless timeline for your event.
Book us to take care of the audio portion of your special event. We have partnered with local professional Audio technicians to gain very valuable knowledge and now have our own full sound system. We are able to mic up almost any band from a solo act to a full band that requires full backline and even live horns. From small and intimate events to large corporate events, weddings, graduations, and any celebration, we got the equipment to provide a bunch of services you may need.
Full backline rentals include your choice of a DW Design Series shell kit with a DW 3000 series hardware pack or a blacked out Yamaha Stage custom shell kit with a Mapex Armory 800 series hardware pack. Drum kit comes with Roc n Soc throne, a mix of sE and Shure drum mics and an analog snake to keep the stage clean. We carry a Gallien Kreuger 2×12 NEO Bass cabinet with an 800 watt Gallien Kreuger Legacy Bass amp head.

Who we are
Kawai Pascua, known as “Kavibes” in the entertainment world, brings more than a dozen years of dedicated experience to the music scene. Raised on the west side of Kauaʻi, she enjoyed a humble, country-style upbringing, and those grounded values continue to shape her everyday life and work ethic. Her first taste of the spotlight came in high school, when she and her best friend entered talent shows with a ukulele and spent afternoons jamming for friends and family. Guided by her faith in Jesus and grateful for His blessings, Kawai steadily gained exposure and eventually launched a solo career, playing three to five gigs each week. Over time she built meaningful relationships within the industry and expanded her sound, forming the Kavibes trio and later a full band. She’s opened for headliners including Katchafire, Ho’onua, The Vitals, and local Kauai favorites such as Revival and Kauai Kollab. Most recently, Kawai headlined Kauai’s largest block party, the Rice Street Block Party in 2025.
Branching out beyond performing, she began booking entertainment for a wide range of events, businesses, and shopping centers, bringing her professionalism and island charm to every engagement.
Early in her career she was mentored by a deeply experienced, intelligent, and loving figure with a sterling reputation in the music community. Uncle Brad, the original drummer of the legendary island reggae band Ho’aikane, took Kawai under his wing and helped shape her into the seasoned professional she is today. Without Uncle Brad’s guidance, she says she wouldn’t be where she is now—both in music and in life—a sentiment shared by many Kauai musicians who also learned from him.
